Tagged.....

I've been tagged!!
4th folder..... 4th picture....

This picture was taken in Park City over Valentines Day
2008 with our good friends Jim and Emily. We went on a Slay
ride to a lodge and then went show shoeing to a Viking Yurt
for dinner. It was so much fun. Spending time with them is
always a great time.

Baby It's Cold Outside

Our first snow fall and the kids couldn't get dressed
fast enough to go outside and play in it. This is
Megan's first year to actually play in the snow and
she loved it. Cage taught her how to throw snowballs
at Myah. It was fun to see them laughing at each other.
Myah loves the snow and wants to lay in it. She must think it's
refreshing. I hate it because when she comes back inside
the snow is matted to her coat.
I couldn't get them to come back inside, I had to bribe
them with hot chocolate. I can't wait for winter.

Punkin' Time

Megan was pretty pouty pickin' pumpkins

Happy and beautiful

Katelin was tired of waiting for everyone

Cage had a fun searching for his
"Great Pumpkin"

Lovin' the Pumpkin Patch
Jaxson and Kenna

We went to the Pumpkin Patch to see if we could find
some good pumpkins. The kids loved searching around
to see who could find the biggest and the smallest pumpkins.
Megan wasn't in a very good mood and Cage endend up the
same way since we didn't bring any home. What a waste
of searching. He was pretty mad at me. I kept thinking
that they might go bad and the fact that he would hound
me to carve them. So we played in the maze and rode
around in the carts. I guess we'll get some next time.
By the looks of it, there should be some left.

Our Get Away

We had a great time on our cruise. We stayed the first night
at a really nice hotel in Florida. The next morning we went
through the big process to get on the boat. That was pretty
much a hassle. Between all the Homeland Security and ship
security I thought it was going to be an all day event.
We toured the ship and it was huge. By the time we left I
still didn't know what was on each floor. The ship left a
4:00 and by 7:00 I was sea sick. Luckily I called the doctor
and had her prescribe me the patch just in case. It worked
like a charm.
We weren't to impressed with the food. We thought it was
supposed to be this amazing feast. So I ordered Grill Cheese
for room service every night.
We went to a few shows, but spent most of our time by the pool.
They give you what they call a "Sail and sign card" so you just
charge all of your drinks and souvenirs. By the time we left
we'll just say that it was pretty heavy and it wasn't from
souvenirs.
When we got to Grand Cayman we rented Wave Runners and went
for a ride. It was so much fun. We rode to Stingray City and
played with the wild Stingrays. They would just creep right
up to you. I was a little scared because you could see their
stinger. Then we snorkeled the Grand Coral Reef and it was
beautiful.I can't believe how clear the water is. I could
have stayed in the water forever. When we got back to the
island we noticed there were roosters and Iguana's roaming all
over the town. I thought it was funny.
I don't really have much to say about Cozumel. It was Mexico!!
It rained for half the day while we were driving our Dune Buggy's.
We saw some Crocodiles (nobody knows how they got there)
and some ruins. We got some souvenir's and then had some drinks.
We had such a good time and we wouldn't have been able to go
without our good friends and family watching our kids. (Ryan,
Sorry about Meg pucking all over your car.)
It was time needed and time well spent.
Thanks honey for spending every minute with me.
I love you more everyday.

Here fishy, fishy, fishy

Our little fisherman.
Cage was born a fisherman. His Dad would take him fishing
when he was a just a baby and Cage would sit in his car seat
and sleep.
He is always so proud of the fish he catches and
laughs because he catches more than his Dad. His Dad
wonders why there is so much competition between him and
a seven year old. Needless to say, I have a freezerfull of fish
if anyone wants some. I wonder how long I can keep them in
there before they go bad.
Cage says "fish fear when they hear my name."

Jen's Skydiving Adventure

This is what my best friend Jen wanted to do on her birthday.
I think she's crazy!! Needless to say she made her jump, sailed
through the air doing crazy flips and spins, then landed on her
butt. She loved it and I bet she'll do it again. She just wont be
talking me into it. It was fun to watch her get all excited about it.
Cage and Meg were a little scared for her, but laughed when she
made it down okay.
Happy Birthday Jen!! We love you!

Readin', Writin', 'Rithmatic

This was Cage's first day of 2nd grade. He had been counting
down the days until school started, but of course the morning
came and he didn't want to go. He rode his bike and we made
it there without a fight and luckily he stayed. I'll never forget the
first day of Kindergarten when he was hanging onto the doors
screaming while I was pulling at his feet. I kept thinking if he
lets go he's going down.
Cage is growing up so fast and has so much character. It is fun
to watch his personality become stronger everyday. We love
you Cage. Try hard in school this year.

Midway with the girls

The girls and I went to Midway and stayed at a huge condo
of Shannon's. Summer ran the marathon and she finished it
in 3.22 hours. That girl rocks. She was so quick that we
missed her at the finish line.
We went out to dinner, did some shopping in Park City, rode
horses, and stayed up way to late. (Come on, you know I was
the first to go to sleep, well besides the baby.) It was a ton of
fun and again really nice to get away with the gals.
Thanks Shannon!!

Ready, Set, Goal

Wow!! Cage is rockin' it in Soccer this year. Last year he
just ran around with the herd of kids. This year he is
kicking the ball and taking it away from other players.
(Even his own teammates.) He's kinda a ball hog, but he's
learning. He has a really fun coach named
Brad Hartley. Brad calls him Anikin so Cage really
likes him.
Chris Williams is on the same team and that
is Cage's best friend. I've threated their lives if they
goof around on the field. So far, they've done pretty good.
It looks like it will be a fun season. Good luck.

Robin's 29th Birthday

Tuesday the 12th was actually my birthday and it started out well. (Except that I had a doctor's appointment that morning.) I woke up to a card that Derrick had left for me and it was one of my favorites. He is the best card giver and he spoils me with them. This card made me feel really special. Then friends had lunch for me at Debs house and the kids ran wild. The girls are so cute with the Target cards. When I got home to lay Megan down for a nap, the doorbell rang and it was the most beautiful bouquet of red, pink, and white roses. And another card. (so cute) My dad stopped over to pay his visit, then my friend Jen because she was babysitting so that Derrick and I could go to dinner. The Cheesecake Factory was so yummy, but I got another card. This card wasn't like the other cards. This card had a poem in it. The poem was about packing my bags because he's taking me to Cozumel. What an amazing husband I have. He is always trying to make sure I am the HAPPIEST! He does a great job at it. I'm so lucky to have him. I LOVE YOU!! XOxXoXxOXooXx

Flaming Gorge

My brother, Ryan, invited us to to boating with him at Flaming Gorge. I Thought that I didn't want to go, as we've been away from home for the past couple of weekends. I thought a nice quiet weekend at home would be nice. But on Friday, I was regreting not going. I called Derrick and pouted to him. He called me later and said that we are going. I was so excited. The only problem was Ryan didn't know we were coming. I called a friend, Clint, that was going up there. I told him to get a hold of Ryan and tell him we are coming. He said he would. Ryan was supposed to pick us up at the marina between 7:30 and 8. We got up there late because we had to go to the store (and we ran out of gas in the parking lot). When we got to the marina, Ryan wasn't there. I called Clint and he said he couldn't get a hold of Ryan to let him know we were coming. Clint decided that he would get Wendell to come get us in his boat. Wendell was nice enough to come get us and let us sleep on his boat. We finally met up with Ryan on Saturday morning(it's another long story, so I'll spare you all the details). We spent most of the day on the lake on Ryan's boat. It was a little windy, but really nice. I got to knee board for the first time in years. Derrick also tried it for the first time. You can see the carnage in the pictures. Cage and Megan had fun. Cage has a new girlfriend, Ashlynn. She's adorable. Thanks Ryan and Jen for all of your hospitality. Sorry about the Cuervo.

Diamond Creek, Idaho

We went to Diamond Creek, ID for a little camping and 4 wheeling.
It was nice because we haven't been able to camp with my
dad in two years. Or maybe it's because he hasn't invited us
(just kidding, Dad).
We went to Diamond Creek two years ago and got lost on
the way. Well, we got lost this time, too. We're certainly no
Rand McNally. We're so appreciative of my dad letting us use his
4 wheelers and motor home. He's so generous. We love you, Dad.
Everything went well on the trip, until the drive home; we got
a flat tire about 10 miles from camp. Poor Derrick had to bear the
heat and put the spare on. I felt so bad for him. If it wasn't for him,
I'd still be stuck there. He's my rock.
