Our Get Away

We had a great time on our cruise. We stayed the first night
at a really nice hotel in Florida. The next morning we went
through the big process to get on the boat. That was pretty
much a hassle. Between all the Homeland Security and ship
security I thought it was going to be an all day event.
We toured the ship and it was huge. By the time we left I
still didn't know what was on each floor. The ship left a
4:00 and by 7:00 I was sea sick. Luckily I called the doctor
and had her prescribe me the patch just in case. It worked
like a charm.
We weren't to impressed with the food. We thought it was
supposed to be this amazing feast. So I ordered Grill Cheese
for room service every night.
We went to a few shows, but spent most of our time by the pool.
They give you what they call a "Sail and sign card" so you just
charge all of your drinks and souvenirs. By the time we left
we'll just say that it was pretty heavy and it wasn't from
souvenirs.
When we got to Grand Cayman we rented Wave Runners and went
for a ride. It was so much fun. We rode to Stingray City and
played with the wild Stingrays. They would just creep right
up to you. I was a little scared because you could see their
stinger. Then we snorkeled the Grand Coral Reef and it was
beautiful.I can't believe how clear the water is. I could
have stayed in the water forever. When we got back to the
island we noticed there were roosters and Iguana's roaming all
over the town. I thought it was funny.
I don't really have much to say about Cozumel. It was Mexico!!
It rained for half the day while we were driving our Dune Buggy's.
We saw some Crocodiles (nobody knows how they got there)
and some ruins. We got some souvenir's and then had some drinks.
We had such a good time and we wouldn't have been able to go
without our good friends and family watching our kids. (Ryan,
Sorry about Meg pucking all over your car.)
It was time needed and time well spent.
Thanks honey for spending every minute with me.
I love you more everyday.

Here fishy, fishy, fishy

Our little fisherman.
Cage was born a fisherman. His Dad would take him fishing
when he was a just a baby and Cage would sit in his car seat
and sleep.
He is always so proud of the fish he catches and
laughs because he catches more than his Dad. His Dad
wonders why there is so much competition between him and
a seven year old. Needless to say, I have a freezerfull of fish
if anyone wants some. I wonder how long I can keep them in
there before they go bad.
Cage says "fish fear when they hear my name."

Jen's Skydiving Adventure

This is what my best friend Jen wanted to do on her birthday.
I think she's crazy!! Needless to say she made her jump, sailed
through the air doing crazy flips and spins, then landed on her
butt. She loved it and I bet she'll do it again. She just wont be
talking me into it. It was fun to watch her get all excited about it.
Cage and Meg were a little scared for her, but laughed when she
made it down okay.
Happy Birthday Jen!! We love you!

Readin', Writin', 'Rithmatic

This was Cage's first day of 2nd grade. He had been counting
down the days until school started, but of course the morning
came and he didn't want to go. He rode his bike and we made
it there without a fight and luckily he stayed. I'll never forget the
first day of Kindergarten when he was hanging onto the doors
screaming while I was pulling at his feet. I kept thinking if he
lets go he's going down.
Cage is growing up so fast and has so much character. It is fun
to watch his personality become stronger everyday. We love
you Cage. Try hard in school this year.

Midway with the girls

The girls and I went to Midway and stayed at a huge condo
of Shannon's. Summer ran the marathon and she finished it
in 3.22 hours. That girl rocks. She was so quick that we
missed her at the finish line.
We went out to dinner, did some shopping in Park City, rode
horses, and stayed up way to late. (Come on, you know I was
the first to go to sleep, well besides the baby.) It was a ton of
fun and again really nice to get away with the gals.
Thanks Shannon!!

Ready, Set, Goal

Wow!! Cage is rockin' it in Soccer this year. Last year he
just ran around with the herd of kids. This year he is
kicking the ball and taking it away from other players.
(Even his own teammates.) He's kinda a ball hog, but he's
learning. He has a really fun coach named
Brad Hartley. Brad calls him Anikin so Cage really
likes him.
Chris Williams is on the same team and that
is Cage's best friend. I've threated their lives if they
goof around on the field. So far, they've done pretty good.
It looks like it will be a fun season. Good luck.
