Bear Lake 2009

We went with Jeff, Renee, and their friends to their cabin in Bear Lake in February. We drove to the top of Monte and rode our snowmobiles to the cabin. It took about 4 hours, but that is because we couldn't resist stopping to play. Luckily we arrived safely with only some minor set backs, like losing keys, sunglasses, and a cell phone (Mike). Not to mention Jeff's near death avalanche. Just kidding. It wasn't too serious, but serious enough to get hurt. We did learn over the weekend that Jeff has 9 lives. We think he's on about 7, so good luck Jeff.
When we arrived we shared stories and had some great hamburgers. We played some games and everyone found out just how smart I (Robin) really am (Thomas Jefferson).
Jeff made a kickin' breakfast Saturday, so after we gorged ourselves we rode around the sinks. What a fun place to ride and play. The snow conditions were perfect and with the great company it made for an excellent day. After another night of fun at the cabin we rode back to our cars left on Monte. Derrick's snowmobile broke down just as we got back. Crappy, but at least he was only towed a mile or so. Thanks for the lift Mike.
Thank you Jeff and Renee for the invite and hospitality. We regret not taking you up on the invite the last couple years. Everyone was so great and fun to be around. It was nice meeting you, Mark, Leslie, Mike, Stacy, Kim, and Karen. Next year Derrick and i get dibs on the second shower!! LOL!

A day in the snow!

A great day snowmobiling at Franklin Basin with 3ft of
fresh powder. Derrick took the day off work to enjoy his
favorite sport with some friends. He is an amazing rider
and makes it look so easy.
Not to mention the fact that he looks so hot in his
snowmobile gear.

Taking the boys snowmobiling.
